About Bell Family
MOST IMPORTANT! (Especially, the * paragraph below)

My Tree contains "blood" relatives only for my children who may in time benefit
from the family history herein contained. To this end it contains their husbands &
wives plus their fathers & mothers, but, rarely, any other in-laws. This helps to
keep the tree focused and more manageable.

*The Tribal and GenesReunited default assumed life spans of 105 and 120 years,
respectively, for unrecorded deaths seems excessive. Therefore, unless a specific
death reference has been found, a generic lifespan of 80 years has been assumed
across the board. If this offends anyone, please provide information to the contrary
at the "contact me/send a message" above and the entry will be corrected.

I continue to "source" all the Births/ Deaths/ Marriages (BMDs). Generally, if there
is a month [quarter end, i.e., March-Jun-Sep-Dec] associated with a BMD, there should
be a Citation detailing volume/page. I am using deductive reasoning in making
connections. If you find any errors (and I'm sure there are a number), please drop
me a line at the "contact me/send a message" at the top.

Finally, I must acknowledge the research of others particularly my niece Theresa
Bell, who independently started this ancestry research, the LDS World Family Tree for
a starting framework, and members at Genes Reunited for their willingness to provide
access to their family research.

Regards Norm Bell

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthday and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
